Hello, I’m Marie

I’m a Rapid Transformational Therapist (RTT®), Hypnotherapist, and Nature‑Based Therapeutic Coach. I help people break free from anxiety, stress, burnout, emotional blocks, and self‑limiting beliefs so they can live with clarity, confidence, and purpose. I also support athletes and high performers with mindset, resilience, and tailored audio visualisations.

My work is grounded, compassionate, and shaped by a deep understanding of how the mind and body respond to pressure, challenge, and change.

 

My Path Here

My journey into therapeutic work has been shaped by a diverse and unconventional background. I spent 25 years working across the military, security, defence, and operational search and rescue roles that taught me resilience, adaptability, and clarity under pressure. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the human mind and its capacity to overcome adversity.

Alongside this, I’ve spent the last eight years deepening my understanding of the mind through Psychology studies with The Open University, mental‑health training, volunteer work, and professional certification as a Hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapist (RTT®).

 

Why I Do This Work

Despite being someone who thrives in high‑stakes environments, there came a point where everything caught up with me. I experienced anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and eventually depression. I coped by pushing harder and ignoring the signs, until I couldn’t anymore.

That period changed the direction of my life. It deepened my compassion, strengthened my understanding of the nervous system, and fuelled my commitment to helping others navigate their own challenges with clarity and support.

 

My Approach

I take a holistic, integrative approach that supports the mind, body, and nervous system. My work blends:

  • Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®)

  • Hypnotherapy

  • Coaching

  • Gentle somatic practices

  • Nature‑based therapeutic work

  • Performance psychology and mindset training

  • Tailored audio visualisations

My role is to support you, not just through change, but through transformation.

 

Beyond the Work

Outside of my practice, I find grounding in the outdoors. I love hiking in the Scottish hills, spending time in nature, and open‑water swimming and I’m currently training to swim the English Channel as part of a relay team for charity. These experiences keep me connected to my body, my breath, and the natural world, and they shape the calm, embodied approach I bring into my sessions.
